BASEBALL SEASON

Texas Iron Spikes is the official spirit group of the University of Texas Baseball Team and we set out to earn that honor at each and every game at Disch-Falk Field. As the leaders of the student section out in left field, we rally around our Longhorns on the diamond as well as showing any opponent that comes to town how rowdy we can be. We set this tone hours before first pitch with our tailgates before nearly every home game, with good food and even better beer, sponsored by Capitol Wright. Good music and good company come with every tailgate that gets everyone who stops by in the mood for some UT baseball.

Football SeasoN

Baseball isn’t the only sport we rally behind. As a university-recognized spirit group on the 40 Acres, we support our historic Longhorn football program with tailgates at every home game. With Capitol Wright’s continued sponsorship in the fall, along with Jonathan’s Fine Jewelers and Goodnight Loving Vodka, we are able to host hundreds of students every week with a ton of grilled food, drinks, music and fun. We even follow the team to Dallas every fall for the classic Red River Rivalry game against OU. So come on out and enjoy the free entertainment by being a part of the premier spirit organization on campus.
