Mixers and Tabs

Thanks to our social chairs, we host frequent mixers with female spirit groups and sororities across campus. From 6th Street bar nights to miniature golf and roller skating, our events are always a great time to socialize and make new connections.

Boat parties

You can catch Spikes enjoying a cruise on Lake Travis aboard our barges! Whether it’s a date party or a mixer with another group, this is one of the most popular events of the semester.

IRON SPIKE SWEETHEARTS

Each semester, Texas Iron Spikes honors our closest friends and partners by nominating them as Iron Spike Sweethearts. These special women are recognized for their support, friendship, and connection to our organization. From attending events to cheering on our teams, Sweethearts are an integral part of the Spike family, and we celebrate them throughout the semester with exclusive events and special recognition.

Causals, semiformals, & Formals

Each semester, we host a casual, semi-formal, and/or formal event. Past destinations and experiences have included weekend trips through the Texas Hill Country, exploring the San Antonio River Walk, and relaxing poolside at the Lakeway Resort.
